Donald Trump should be commended for his courage in meeting Vladimir Putin in person.

Don’s Noble and Fearless

This might not sit well with everyone. But honestly, there were people who didn’t like me before I even started writing this.

Let’s give Donald some credit. Thank you, Donald. Respect is due. Who else stands boldly against overwhelming odds, like Satan’s teeth, in the public eye?

Some folks aren’t believers in God; others are unsure about Buddha or Allah. That’s all right. But, honestly, who else is out there? Biden? What’s he doing? Menendez in New Jersey? Don’t even get me started on him. Even the Statue of Liberty seems hesitant about Barack.

The world is intimidating. People hesitate to ask their boss for a raise. Students stress out over exams. Real estate agents just keep hiking up rent.

When it comes to putting it all on the line, there’s really no one but Donald. Not a soul.

Don’t like him? Well, that’s your choice.

Who Else?

Does it really matter? You can be both a dictator and self-serving. So what? I share my home with a Yorkie named Jellybean. I adore him, but he’s been making a mess in my kitchen for six years.

And what about Adam Brustif, who’s currently in trouble with the government? Do you back him? Or Bernie Sanders, who seems intent on being alone in his beliefs? Three ex-bartenders showing up at the Met Gala with no-glam gowns—are these your favorites?

Dear Leader

So, who wants to lead us? Another rigid John Quincy Adams? Or Millard Fillmore, who thought civil strife over slavery wasn’t necessary? Benjamin Harrison? Did he ever do anything worthwhile? Coolidge? What’s his legacy?

I’m not hanging around Mar-a-Lago like some old relic looking to score favors. But I’ve known Donald for over fifty years—do we still communicate? Sure, quietly, through calls, notes, and emails.

Who else has the guts, bravery, and resolve to face global challenges head-on? We all have our fears—I’m uneasy riding the subway, anxious walking alone at night. Is anyone else willing to take risks like Donald?

Remember Bush? He took chances with leaders, what about Nixon? Let’s not dwell on him. And we know Bill Clinton’s history.

So, is this just all for show? Maybe. But he’s not into smoking or drinking. He respects family. He’s redefining the White House, trying to clean up Washington. And what about the Democrats? Can you really criticize him?

Dems da Breaks

Would you rather have another drug-hunter type in the White House? More Secret Service needed to deal with threats? Another story of running up a hill to fetch more hair bleach? Lives in places like Venezuela, Syria, or Russia?

Go on, send a postcard.

As Steve Buscemi once said, “Our elusive Donald is trying.” He deserves some praise.
