Former President Donald Trump won a landslide victory in the Nevada Republican caucuses Thursday night, propelling him toward the Republican presidential nomination.
Trump was one of two candidates on the caucus ballot, along with the Rev. Ryan Binkley, who failed to win any delegates in the Iowa caucuses or New Hampshire primary.As of 11:02pm ET, NBC News had The campaign was called when Mr. Trump received 96.4% of the vote and Mr. Binkley received 3.6% (of which 1%).
Notably, President Trump’s only connected opponent, former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-South Carolina), is not on the ballot for the state caucuses, which allocate the state’s 26 delegates. Trump, who flew to Nevada on Thursday afternoon, also won Thursday night’s Virgin Islands Republican caucus.
