Jill Biden’s Appearance on “The View” Goes Awry
Former first lady Jill Biden has been in the news lately, notably for her recent visit to “The View,” which did not go as planned.
Sarah Gonzalez, a host on Blaze TV, commented on this appearance, suggesting that Jill still craves the spotlight. She remarked, “I think this media tour didn’t have a great start—it’s unlikely to end well.”
During the segment, Jill expressed her worries about Joe, mentioning that he had suffered a stroke during a debate.
Co-host Sarah Gaines chimed in with concerns of her own, asking, “When he said he thought Joe was having a medical attack, didn’t a part of you feel defensive and think, ‘Joe, we can’t keep doing this’?”
Jill responded, “But the doctors said he’s fine. I’m not a doctor,” and then amended that by saying, “So, I am.”
Gonzalez added with a laugh, “I heard that if you don’t call her Dr. Jill Biden, it’s considered rude. But here she is saying she doesn’t really see herself in that light.” She also recalled an instance when Whoopi Goldberg suggested Jill should be Surgeon General, labeling her as “a hell of a doctor.”
Sunny Hostin quickly corrected this, pointing out that Jill is actually a teacher, creating a somewhat bewildering moment. Gonzalez remarked, “It’s just so confusing. This poor bird is lost,” referring to the mix-up. “Whoopi claimed she was a great doctor as if she had seen her operate on someone. But, that’s just a doctorate in education,” she clarified.
