Dr. Oz assists elderly woman who fell during Trump's speech at Kentucky gathering

A woman fainted during President Trump’s address in Kentucky on Wednesday, prompting Dr. Mehmet Oz to spring into action.

Midway through Trump’s speech at Vaast Logistics in Hebron, an elderly woman in the audience seemed to require medical assistance. Trump paused and called out to the crowd, asking, “Do we have a doctor? Please take your time.”

A medical team, including Dr. Oz, who oversees the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, quickly came to her aid.

“First responders are amazing,” Trump remarked, watching the personnel assist the woman.

During this moment, he asked if he could play a song. “Do you think the people behind the scenes can hear me?” he inquired, suggesting the tune “Ave Maria” if they were listening.

However, no music played as Trump continued to observe the treatment being administered.

“Slow down,” he said, commenting on the scene. “She’s lovely.”

As responders began to help the woman exit, Trump spotted Oz among them.

“Dr. Oz! Can you believe it? Dr. Oz!” he exclaimed. “He’s a good doctor. Thank you, Oz.”

Trump picked up his speech again after about seven minutes, shifting back to critiquing California Governor Gavin Newsom.

“We were talking about Gavin New Scum,” he joked. “That doesn’t seem like a very good topic to talk about right now. That young woman wasn’t in a very good mood.”

This was not the first time Oz has intervened in a medical situation during Trump’s presidency. In April, he helped a young girl who fainted during a speech in the Oval Office, later revealed to be a family member.

In November, he again provided aid when a man collapsed during a press conference in the Oval Office.
