“Duck Dynasty” star Silas ‘Uncle Si’ Robertson was hospitalized after suffering injuries in a boating accident, according to a Thursday podcast.
The star was notably absent from his podcast “Duck Call Room,” sparking concern for his well being. Co-host Justin Martin explained that Robertson was hospitalized for three days after falling from a boat while hunting in Arkansas. He spoke about the circumstances that led up to Robertson’s hospitalization, saying that the man attempted to shake it off but it soon became evident that his injuries required medical intervention.

“Typical Silas Robertson, in a big dang hurry to get out of the boat and into the Polaris,” Martin said.
“He went to take a long step instead of waiting for us to move the decoys and the shotguns … A BDH, a Big Dang Hurry, and he fell,” he said.
Martin went on to indicate that there were some complications from the fall.
“And when he fell, he fell on his oxygen machine — you know how he wears it like a bandolier,” he said.
He explained Robertson’s initial state of denial after falling out of the boat.
“But he bounced right up. I think he didn’t want anybody to see that he fell.”
“Except the problem is you’re covered in mud now, like we know that he fell,” he said.
Martin explained that despite Robertson’s initial claims that he was feeling fine, his symptoms worsened as time passed. He said he realized Robertson was quieter than was typical, and he feared he may have suffered a concussion.

“Duck Dynasty” alum Phillip McMillan joined the conversation to say Robertson confessed he was “in a lot of pain,” adding, “I’ve been in pain for three days.”
They said Robertson’s oxygen levels were low and his family took him to the emergency room to be assessed. (RELATED: Actor DeRon Horton Reveals Gruesome Photos After Being Shot In The Arm)
X-ray results showed Robertson had sustained bruised ribs. His oxygen levels had allegedly dipped largely as a result of panic attacks he was experiencing due to the pain of his injury.
He was prescribed medication and discharged with the instruction that he was to heal at home.
