E.U. Leaders Agree to Massive Defence Spending Boost

The leader of the European Union, which holds emergency consultations in Brussels, agreed on Thursday to launch a massive increase in defense spending in wake of President Donald Trump's demand for less reliance on US taxpayer Larges for hardware, fundraising and information sharing.

As reported by Breitbart News, they must now protect themselves for themselves, leaving a US dollar protective cover, leaving a US dollar protective cover.

“Today's history is written,” European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen told reporters after the summit was over.

AP Report She said the 27 EU leaders were determined to “ensure the safety of Europe and act on the scale, speed and determination that this situation requires. We are determined to invest more, better investments, faster investments.”

The pledge highlighted the marine changes in geopolitics that have been spurred by Trump.

Leaders listened to Trump and signed a move to loosen budgetary restrictions so that EU countries can increase military spending.

They also urged the Commission to call for new ways to “promote important defence spending” in all member states, the statement said.

The EU's executive branch estimates that approximately 650 billion euros ($700.2 billion) can be released in that way.

Trump's solid supporter, Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban, refused to support some of the summit statements in favor of Ukraine.

However, 26 other EU leaders have approved that there were no negotiations on Ukraine without Kiev's opinion and that Europeans must be involved in consultations related to safety.

Trump previously criticised the costs of war in Ukraine for US taxpayers through a major military aid package, revealing that he wants to change the financial burden more across the Atlantic.

As reported by Breitbart News, he is also challenging NATO members to increase their defensive spending to 5% of their overall economic outcome.

Europeans have so far been on the sidelines in US-led negotiations with Russia.
