March Madness Elite Eight Predictions
Purdue vs. Tennessee picks
It was a straight choke in the Midwest region, where the Boilermakers were listed as +165 favorites to advance to the Final Four at DraftKings Sportsbook before the tournament.
The Voluntese escaped with close wins over No. 7 Texas and No. 3 Creighton in the past two rounds, while the Boilermakers won all three contests by at least 12 points and advanced to the Elite Eight with relative ease. .
Purdue, a team on the decline in popularity heading into the tournament after a shocking Round of 64 loss last season, appears to have solved its March Madness woes.
Purdue is betting on its first Final Four appearance in the Matt Painter era.
choice: Purdue -3.5

NC State vs. Duke Picks
The Wolfpack is one of the tournament’s best stories.
After upsetting No. 2 Marquette in the Sweet 16, North Carolina State is now three wins away from its best hope of winning its first national title since at least 1978.
But first they have to get past Duke University, which just defeated one of the top teams in college basketball.
The Blue Devils appear to be picking up steam at the right time after a disappointing regular season, defeating the Houston Cougars on Friday after trailing by 4.5 points.
I’m betting this is the end of NC State’s Cinderella-like run.
choice: Duke -6.5
