Black voters in multiple states spoke to FOX News Digital about whether they were much better off under former President Trump than they were four years ago. Voters in Atlanta, Chicago, and Detroit shared whether their financial situation has improved or worsened since the Biden-Harris administration.
A black man living in Chicago said he is “trembling” due to the current economic situation.
”[The economy has gotten] Really worse. “A lot of things haven't really gotten better. Everything has gotten better,” Emanuel told Fox News Digital.
“Inflation was terrible,” said Marcellus, who lives in Atlanta. “The guy in the office there didn't do much for us.”

“Gasoline prices were lower when President Trump was in office,” he added.
But some voters said they had come to believe that Harris still had a chance to prove herself because she was not serving as president.
“My understanding is that Kamala has never really been sworn in as president this long…She was vice president,” said Porter, a student at Harold Washington University in Chicago.
“I don't think there's an answer to that,” said Porter, a lifelong Windy City resident. “But I feel that if Kamala were elected, her policies and her beliefs would better meet my needs. I believe in it,” he said. It's a person. ”
Anneliese, who also lives in Chicago, said, “The Trump era was not good at all.''
“Well, I wasn't under Kamala's leadership as president. I was under her vice president, so she was never president. In Atlanta, Tim brought up the fact that Harris has never served as president.
“That's something we don't know yet, right? Kamala hasn't been sworn in yet, so we can't talk about that,” Tim said. “We just want to speak from what we see. We've lived under it. So we don't need to just wait for Kamala and see what Trump has done.”

In Michigan, black voters weighed in on which candidate would benefit, with one saying Harris “did nothing.”
Isma Mukreshi, a Detroit student and Hamtramck native, told Fox News Digital that her life was better under President Trump. “The economy is better, life is better. We were hit by the coronavirus and everything changed to the maximum. But I think life was better before 2020.”
“I don't want to be biased, but I just want to say that I think it's time for history to be made. I just think we're going to have a female president,” said Mandela, who lives in Detroit.
