Officials said that when Gunman fired at the Texas High School band Competition on Saturday, it was immediately blocked by a brave parent who spoke the elderly on the ground.
Police said his 80's Gunman was injured at the Texas Color Guard Circuit Drum Line Competition at Pasadena Memorial High School before he was defeated.
According to police, the man entered the campus and hid behind the pillars in the school for about 2 minutes.
A young adult man was struck in front of the parents of the audience charged by the shooter and worked on the ground.
Later, “some good Samarians” jumped in and helped arrest a man with the school district officers.
“The suspect was released within 60 seconds and hindered further shooting by the suspect,” said Passadena Chief Jerry Light.
In a statement, Piarand's Independent School District stated in a statement that some of the Samarians were “bravely intervening, suppressing individuals, and restraining them until the law enforcement organization arrived.”
The shooting seems to be randomly performed, and the motive has not been determined.
According to Pasadena Independent School District, the shooters did not belong to competition.
The injured was a percussion technical consultant in the band of the Angton Independent School District. Police said he was struck by his shoulders and was taken to the hospital in a stable state.
