Errol Musk Comments on Son Elon’s Feud with Trump

Errol Musk, father of tech mogul Elon Musk, has expressed concern over his son’s ongoing conflict with President Trump, describing Elon’s remarks as “mistakes” and suggesting that Trump would emerge victorious in the bitter exchange.

Errol, who has had a complicated relationship with his billionaire son, noted that Elon is experiencing significant stress and expressed hope that the two influential figures could eventually mend their differences.

“They’ve been under a lot of pressure for about five months, which takes a toll. They’ve had to focus on clearing obstacles and restoring normalcy,” Errol commented during an interview with Russian media.

He also remarked on their fatigue, saying, “It’s not surprising to see this kind of conflict. Trump is the president; he tends to win. I think Elon erred in taking a stance because he was elected. But, he’s dealing with a lot.” Elon’s rift with Trump began last month, primarily over concerns regarding a substantial bill’s effect on the deficit.

The conflict escalated following an interview on CBS’s “Sunday Morning Show,” where Elon initially critiqued Trump and the Republican party, labeling them as “filled with pork” and “nasty hatred.” This sparked a heated back-and-forth.

Most recently, Elon claimed on social media that without his support, “Trump would have lost the election, and Democrats would control the House.” His statements seemed to further solidify the divide between them.

In response, Trump hinted at the possibility of cutting a crucial federal contract connected to Elon’s company, suggesting tensions were rising in their professional relationship.

Elon’s role as a special government employee concluded recently, following a somewhat contentious departure during which Trump nominated someone else for a significant NASA role, leaving Elon visibly upset.

“Elon is determined not to yield to the Democrats and their misguided ideas,” Errol noted. “This isn’t a big issue; it will blow over.” Errol was in Moscow at the time, discussing topics related to Russia’s future development at a forum supported by nationalist Alexander Dugin.

Despite publicly downplaying the situation, Trump warned that the billionaires could face “consequences” as he plans to leverage his resources to support Democrats in the upcoming midterm elections.

Elon has shown willingness to repair his relationship with Trump and Vice President Vance, who was optimistic about the possibility of reconciliation. However, Trump remains skeptical and has made it clear that he is “really uninterested” in reconciling with Elon.

While Trump described Musk with some harsh words, like calling him “crazy,” Elon has denied any issues with substance abuse. Errol Musk, who has historically been aligned with Trump, once held a political position in South Africa but has since had a cool dynamic with his son, who finds himself navigating a complex public persona.
