Tragic Accident Claims Life of Young Influencer
A 22-year-old social media influencer and model lost her life in a tragic car accident over the weekend, according to authorities. This devastating incident also resulted in the death of another passenger.
The victim, Aizia J. Toledo, was from the Philadelphia area and had gained popularity for her lifestyle and modeling content, primarily through her handle “AYZIA J.” late Sunday night, she was behind the wheel of a BMW carrying two other passengers.
Authorities reported that Toledo lost control of the vehicle while driving on a New Jersey highway. The car veered off-road, overturned, and struck a tree in Deptford Township, approximately 19 miles south of Philadelphia.
New Jersey State Police indicated in a statement, “The Toledo lost control of its vehicle, left the roadway to the left, overturned, and struck a tree.” Tragically, both Toledo and the front-seat passenger sustained fatal injuries.
The identity of the second victim was confirmed as Henrietta F. Carter, a 22-year-old woman from Derby, Pennsylvania, which is a suburb of Philadelphia. A third passenger, who was seated in the back, experienced minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
Currently, the circumstances surrounding the accident are still under investigation.
Toledo was well-known on various platforms for her beauty and fashion content, amassing over 300,000 followers, including more than 250,000 on TikTok and around 87,000 on Instagram. Following news of her death, many fans took to her social media pages to express their sorrow and condolences.
A GoFundMe page set up in her memory stated she was “building an incredible future for herself.” It also highlighted the love she received from family, friends, and community members, mentioning that she is now “back in heaven, resting peacefully with her beloved mother and grandmother.”
This heartbreak was compounded on the same day when another young influencer, Briana Johnson, tragically lost her life in a shooting while riding in a Lamborghini SUV in Miramar, Florida. Johnson, known to her followers as Dream Doll Brii, was just 21 years old.
