This afternoon, medals will be given out in pairs figure skating.

Following yesterday’s short program, the top 16 pairs are set to perform their free skate routines.

Team USA has both pairs in the free skate, with Ellie Kam and Danny O’Shea finishing seventh and Emily Chan with Spencer Akira Howe placing ninth. They are already gold medalists from the team event.

The current leaderboard is topped by Germany’s Minerva Fabienne Hase and Nikita Volodkin, Georgia’s Anastasia Metelkina and Luka Berlava, along with Canada’s Lia Pereira and Trent Michaud.

Olympic figure skating schedule and start time

Today, February 16th, marks the second day of pairs competition at the 2026 Olympics. The free skate is set to begin at 2 PM ET and will move to NBC at 3:55 PM.
