Erin Andrews called it “terrible” after she said she had hot flashes while covering the 49ers vs. Buccaneers game in Tampa on Nov. 10.
In a recent article about her and Carissa Thompson Podcast “Calm down”an NFL sideline reporter for Fox Sports, said he had had enough of the negative comments and explained that he was sweating due to Tampa's humidity.
“Someone said, 'Erin Andrews, you look great, you have this glow.' What do you use? And I said, 'It's called sweat.' I did. We were outside… it was like 90 degrees for four hours on the field,” Andrews said.
“…I wrote back and said, “They said I was sweating so I need a shower,'' and then one hole wrote, “I have a hot flash.''
“Shut up – shut up! Five hours outside is enough!”
Ms Andrews also explained that the sun was shining and she was unable to reapply sunscreen due to her body makeup.
The WEAR by EA founder mentioned this exchange when she and Thompson were answering fan questions, especially questions about dealing with critics.
“Don't worry about the losers, just keep doing your thing,” said Thompson, who is the studio host for Fox Sports NFL and Amazon's “Thursday Night Football.”
“Sometimes we react to people who try to clog Erin and I about something because we think enough is enough…but for every 100 bad comments we get 1 They may react one by one.”
On the Calm Down podcast, the co-hosts posted a clip discussing negative comments, writing, “Menopause jokes aren't funny,” along with an angry face emoji.
