Erling Haaland’s Post-World Cup Spotlight
Even after Norway’s elimination from the World Cup in the quarter-finals, Erling Haaland hasn’t faded from the limelight. Following the team’s exit, he made headlines again by attending the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show in Taormina, Sicily, with his girlfriend, Isabelle Hausen-Johansen.
The couple was there as VIPs, sporting matching white ensembles. Haaland, at 25, donned a double-breasted brooched blazer along with off-white trousers, paired with black sunglasses and distinctive blue shoes. Johansen, 22, turned heads in a shimmering, sheer, low-cut dress embellished with teardrop beads. Their affectionate moment at the dinner table, where they shared a kiss, caught many eyes.
Johansen later shared a few snapshots of their evening on Instagram, captioning it: “Thank you @dolcegabbana for joining us. A special night in Taormina 🇮🇹✨🤝.”
The pair struck poses for the cameras, also joining Norwegian teammate Sander Berge and his girlfriend Julie Carlsen, who wore complementary black outfits.
Haaland often sports Dolce & Gabbana attire, particularly since he has an endorsement deal with the luxury brand worth about $2.7 million that began in 2023. In fact, he and Johansen also attended the brand’s show in Rome in 2025.
They have a shared history, having grown up together in Bryn, Norway. Interestingly, Johansen also plays soccer, which adds a layer of connection to their relationship. When Haaland moved to Germany to join Borussia Dortmund, Johansen reached out to him on Instagram. He mentioned, “She sent me a message. She was the one who tested me. It wasn’t me who tested her.”
The couple welcomed their son in December 2024, though they’ve kept his photo and name private.
Johansen has made strides in fashion and content creation, while Haaland continues to shine as a young Premier League star. His charm and on-field skills had fans captivated during the 2026 World Cup. After Norway’s tough 2-1 defeat to England in the quarter-finals, he was celebrated as a hero in the crowded streets back home.
Before this loss, he was a contender for the Golden Boot, having scored seven goals during his first World Cup experience.
