ESPN’s Jay Bilas roasted for LeBron James ‘complainer’ comment during Lakers game
ESPN analyst Jay Villas has created what became a controversial commentary on LeBron James’ interaction with the referee in the Lakers’ Game 1 loss against the Timberwolves on Saturday night.
When James expressed his dissatisfaction with the no-call on a jump shot, Villas defended the superstar, saying, “He’s not a complainer.”

“LeBron James thought he’d hit that jump shot, and I think he was,” Villas said.

Of course, this is all because the Lakers were wiped out in Game 1 of the Western Conference playoff run by the Minnesota Timber Wolves 117-95 and at their home in Los Angeles.
