There’s a sense that corporate media is working hard to shield the Democrats, believing that regular people are somehow deceiving them—particularly regarding riot videos. They’re really doubling down on trying to convince us, aren’t they?
After their attempts to downplay a five-year-old video showcasing Joe Biden’s mental decline have, well, fallen flat, legacy media now wants us to overlook videos documenting riots in cities largely governed by Democrats. It’s kind of astonishing, really.
The narratives spun by politicians, like those from Mayor Karen Bass and Governor Gavin Newsom, make it seem like everything is under control. But how can they remain convinced when videos starkly highlight the chaos? Just a few weeks ago, Biden claimed he was “as sharp as a tack,” which, frankly, felt like a stretch.
CNN bringing back Brian Stelter says a lot about their current state. He’s been known to make absurd statements, almost as if downplaying serious issues. It’s almost like they’re saying, “So what if there’s chaos?” It’s a baffling sort of arrogance that makes you think, “Really?”
When people like Dana Bash at CNN echo that sort of sentiment, it absolutely underscores the media’s desperation to downplay Democratic governance issues. It’s like they’re grasping at straws, trying to mask failures instead of admitting they exist.
Honestly, if California were ablaze, I can picture CNN framing it with something like, “Most of America isn’t burning, so let’s not panic!” It’s similar to how they reported on past horrors without acknowledging the gravity of the situations.
And I can’t help but wonder what CNN’s Jake Tapper might write after the next election. Perhaps something sensational about riots will be his big topic, and he’ll take pride in it.
Watching the media’s attempts to pull the wool over our eyes is, well, pretty amusing. Their tactic seems to involve more self-deprecation as they slip further into irrelevance. Honestly, it feels like we’re winning just by pointing out their inconsistencies and having a good laugh at their expense.
