Milana Vayntrub Raises Over $500,000 for Wildfire Victims

Milana Vayntrub, known for her time as an AT&T spokesperson, has successfully raised more than $500,000 by selling “classy and risqué” photos to support those affected by the severe wildfires in California.

On Tuesday, Vayntrub announced that she surpassed her fundraising goal as part of a campaign called “Only Philanthropy,” which is a clever twist on the popular platform OnlyFans. She described the experience as “the best thing I’ve ever been a part of.”

“It was a completely crazy idea for an experiment,” she shared on Instagram. “After the fires in Los Angeles this year, it became clear that folks needed cash, so I thought we could try something a bit silly and team up to help out.”

Best recognized for her role as “Lily” in telecom commercials, she made it clear that while she wouldn’t be sharing nudes, potential donors could expect “flirty, classy and racy” photos.

Vayntrub offered exclusive images in exchange for donations to a GoFundMe campaign initiated by Bridget Bradley, a single mother who lost her home in the Eaton Wildfire back in January.

The first round of donations brought in $170,000 within just four days, which immensely aided Bradley, a mother of three, including a young son with cerebral palsy, in covering housing costs, medical expenses, and a new vehicle for the next year.

The organization’s mission, as stated on their website, highlights their approach: “Only philanthropy trades exclusive content for real-world impact.” They aim to collect funds rapidly for urgent causes while providing contributors with something a little fun and heartfelt.

Following the initial success, Vayntrub launched a second fundraising project during the summer, bringing in an impressive $350,000 in just a week.

These funds have since been contributed to My Tribe Rise, a local organization dedicated to supporting elderly, disabled, and uninsured individuals in “rebuilding their lives.”

All donations were allocated directly to those who survived the fires. In total, the first two campaigns attracted about 3,500 donors, with contributors averaging around $120, all while the creators worked less than 10 hours.

After the positive response, Vayntrub is now looking into expanding Only Philanthropy, with plans for new projects related to justice reform, homelessness, LGBTQ+ rights, climate resilience, and other causes.

“This year, we’ve raised over $500,000 together. I think we should aim to grow this into something bigger, weirder, and more impactful, with more creators getting involved,” Vayntrub shared.

The organization utilizes a tiered payment system where the nature of the perks offered becomes “more frivolous” with higher donations. For instance, a donation of $1,000 entitles contributors to receive an autographed Polaroid from Vayntrub’s sessions. To prevent unauthorized sharing, submitted digital photos are watermarked with the donor’s email, enabling tracking in case of leaks.
