Ex-Obama official claims Biden’s internal polling had Trump winning 400 electoral votes: ‘Catastrophic mistake’

According to the White House's own internal polling, President-elect Trump is on track to win 400 electoral votes in a head-to-head battle with President Biden.

The news was revealed by Jon Favreau, a former speechwriter for former President Barack Obama and current host of the liberal podcast Pod Save America.

“Later, when the Biden camp became the Harris camp, Donald Trump was expected to win 400 electoral votes, according to the Biden campaign's own internal poll at the time, which said the Biden camp was the most likely candidate. I understand that.” Favreau said.

“Joe Biden's decision to run for president again was a fatal mistake,” Favreau added. “They refused to admit until quite late that anyone could be upset about inflation. And they refused to admit that his presidency was historic, that we had the greatest economy in history. I kept telling them.”

Favreau accused Team Biden of “terrifying” Vice President Harris and quietly telling reporters she couldn't win.

“I'm done being generous,” Favreau said, echoing a long line from an Obama alumnus who has consistently disparaged Biden and his inner circle.

Former Obama campaign leader David Axelrod has consistently been one of Biden's harshest critics on cable news, and has been raising questions about Biden's age long before the disastrous July debate. Ta.

Once hailed by the party for kicking her out of the race, many Democrats now blame her and blame her for Harris' decisive defeat in Election Day voting. .

Pelosi called Biden a “great president” when she helped oust him, but now says she should have withdrawn from the race sooner.

A Biden insider disputed the poll's results, telling the Post, “There was a small blow after the debate, but it got worse after the firing squad, but the internal poll shows Biden trailing by 400 people.'' “There was never a time when I was there,” he said.

In the end, Trump defeated Harris by a decisive margin of 312 electoral votes and won the popular vote by about 4 million votes.
