Excessively farting passenger forces American Airlines flight to turn around

An American Airlines jet was reportedly forced to return to its gate due to strong winds and a passenger becoming “frustrated” by smelly farts.

According to a post on Reddit, the foul smell of farting flyers occurred while a recent flight from Phoenix, Arizona to Austin, Texas was still on the ground.

“Before most people got in, I heard this guy grumbling about something. Maybe he was hungover or had a bad day, but as soon as we sat down, he was complaining under his breath about something. .'Hell' or something.'', user lamgalatx I have written.

After most of the passengers had boarded, the man reportedly shouted: Now, how does this smell?’ – and kept the gas flowing.

“I don't know what prompted that comment, but it's kind of funny to overhear, but still, especially not coming from a grown man on a plane,” the user wrote.

But that wasn't the end of the outrageous behavior of the excessively farting passengers.

“The guy who just farted on purpose decided to loudly and condescendingly say, 'Yeah, everyone, let's eat as much stinky food as possible at the same time,'” the poster wrote.

“The guy in the next row said, “If you don't want to, you can fly private.'' To which the fart guy said, “That's very rude,'' and another person nearby said, “I'm sure you all agree. 'I think so,' he chimed in. 'You're a rude person here,''' the witness added.

At one point, a flight attendant intervened and told the offender, “Enough is enough.”

According to the Redditor, the plane was heading toward the runway at high speed, but then stopped.

“I heard an announcement saying, 'Sorry for the interruption, we're heading back to the gate. We'll let you know as soon as we have more information,'” the user wrote.

“When we returned to the gate, the flight attendant returned and told Furtman that he would not be staying on this flight. He just replied, 'I don't know,' and she said nothing about it. I told him I would talk to him outside the plane.”

The man grabbed his bag and got off the plane.

“We all breathed a sigh of relief when he was removed, but I think most of us were in suspense about what he would say or do next. “It was only a 30-minute delay, so overall I think American Airlines acted quickly,” he added.

Reddit users didn't hold it back with their gas-related jokes.

“Maybe the other flight ran out of gas?” one person wrote.

“He missed the chance to fart on the way out and yelled 'sniff me later!'” another joked.

The newspaper asked American Airlines for comment on the terrible odor.
