Create custom music tracks
Not everyone is musically savvy, but with AI, it’s pretty easy to pretend you are — or at the very least, make some fun tunes for a loved one who needs a pick-me-up.

Best for: Experiment with song styles
Starter prompt: “Heartbreak at the Movie Theater, an 80’s Ballad”

Just tell Udio the theme and genre of your song and it will do the rest. I asked it to write a yacht rock song about a guy who loves sunsets, and it created two surprisingly good one-minute clips. You can also customize the lyrics.
Create a simple video clip
Our mobile phone’s built-in software does a good job of editing the videos we take (like our family on the beach), but have you ever wanted to make your video a little more stylish?

Visit Invideo to create your own video. No experience necessary. Text prompts can be simple, but the more details you include, the better the results.
You can also add AI narration (David Attenborough’s AI voice is awesome), and by the way, free accounts add a watermark to your videos, but that’s fine if you’re just using it for fun.
Digital Art Sketch
You don’t need to be an AI guru with experience in paid programs like Midjourney to make digital art, so here are some options that anyone can try.

- Fun times for kids and adults: Google Hurry up and draw! In this next-gen Pictionary-style game, you can get the AI to recognise your doodles before time runs out.
- Expose your child to different languages: Another option from Google is Mono translatorSo you take a picture of something and hear it in another language. Awesome!
- Warm up your vocal cords: Freddy Meter It uses AI to assess how well you can sing like Freddie Mercury. Choices include “Don’t Stop Me Now,” “We Are the Champions,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” and “Somebody to Love.”
