Alina Haba, a new representative US attorney for President Donald Trump's New Jersey area, said political prosecutors and judges are part of a “broken system” that must be reformed.
In an interview with Haba in Thursday's edition Alex Marlow Show Alex Marlowe, editor-in-chief of podcast Breitbart, emphasizes the rise of Haba's whirlwinds in Trump's world and her time in the West Wing, what Haba calls “probably the most epic first 100 days.”
Haba has described some of the highlights in Trump's experience as a lawyer since joining his legal team in the fall of 2021.
“Beating Michael Cohen was probably the sweetest victory,” Haba told Marlow.
She said Cohen “is the guy who had the opportunity to do great things and instead was tied to his own mess with taxi medallions and other things and tried to come after President Trump.”
Cohen's work with the government led to “a very public attack, indictment” against Trump, Haba said, adding that he believes that in that case, Trump's stubborn expression “is why I think he asked him to take on this new role.”
She explained that her mission in her new role as a US lawyer will focus on fighting crime.
“My mission will be the same as President Trump,” she said. “We have to remove crime from the streets, we have to struggle with crime. We have to look after the immigration issues created by the Biden administration, and we will kick out illegal immigrants.
She added, “Of course, violent crime is a priority. We want to keep the city safe.”
Marlowe said Haba is best known for his work defending Trump in the case filed against him by New York Attorney General Letitia James.
But the alleged crime “has no casualties,” Haba explained. “And they used the commercial law, Section 6312, which should not be used in the private sector,” he explained.
Haba said James “decided to hand his nose to the private sector, to private companies, to Deutsche Bank.
Although the case has been appealed, Haba warned that these legal tactics James employed could become the new normal.
“If we can do this to President Trump, we can do this to anyone,” she warned, reflecting Trump's campaign message.
Haba also said one of Trump's alleged crimes went beyond the limiting law, but the state passed the law to change the law.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul (d) signed the law and signed the law to file a law suit against the suspected attacker, even if the law of restrictions was passed, in order for adult survivors to grant a one-year window to victims of the law.
“Governor Hochur has created a line-up of adult survivors. [Trump accuser E. Jean Carroll’s lawyer] Robbie Kaplan targeted people for a year, who was their first? It was Donald Trump,” Haba said.
She believes that such political laws from non-political officials must end.
“as as as [U.S. Attorney]I can say it's not a political position. Habba told Marlow. “And when you're political, when you get Trump, when you start writing laws that avoid restrictions to gain political enemies, it's the only American thing, and the real destruction of the judicial system.”
Haba said she is “as annoyed as most Americans.” She believes this needs to be fixed.
“We need to see consistent council testimony and hearings, see nothing happening, and the Enforcement Bureau needs to step in and do their own investigations and arrest people for men with blue men,” she said. “And I see every tweet, every complaint. “Why don't we arrest people? Why don't we arrest people?” We have to do that. Because we don't continue our investigation and we can't get accountable results. ”
In addition to his enthusiastic, open political prosecutors, Habba sees a wide range of issues in the system.
“We have a real problem with the bench,” Haba said of the political judge.
She called for reforms in rules and ethics that govern the officials who make these decisions.
“We're starting to focus on people who are law enforcers, genuine decision makers, who are financially ruining someone's life and who could potentially get them in prison,” she said. “You can't take that and mix politics.”
Marlowe presented an example of District Judge James Boasburg, blocking the deportation of Trump's group members and currently handling the Signal Group Chat lawsuit. Boasberg and his wife are prominent Democratic donors. “It seems so crazy that it's not true,” Marlow said.
That's just an example of the biased judge she and Trump faced, Haba said, arguing that Congress, which created the court system, has the power to change it or refund it.
“Please don't forget that we're funding these federal courts. If that were the case, we'll play the ball with you, just like you're playing with us,” she said. “There's a separation of forces for a reason. It's checking and balance. It's all. But this isn't over.”
