President Donald Trump's border emperor Tom Homan said during his appearance that there was “great success” at the border. Saturday Breitbart Newscites an example by noting that the number of daily anxiety has decreased dramatically under Trump's leadership.
“President Trump is a game-changer,” Homan said. “I said from day one, “When he wins the election, we'll secure the border in a few weeks.”
It details these results, primarily by proving that Trump can do it through executive orders, and pointing out that he has arrested more in one day in one day under former President Joe Biden's administration.
“And because we proved it through his executive order. We went over 8,000 in a month, but I remember going back to Joe Biden and arresting 11,000 a day. So we arrested more in a day under Joe Biden. [than] We had it under Trump in a month,” Homan said, explaining that the average daily figure had dropped dramatically over the last month.
“Not only that, we currently operate 200, from the average you know, from the highest of 11,000 per day, which is a 97% drop,” he revealed.

Homan also gave him more perspective on improvements since Trump took office on January 20th.
“Look at the known acquisitions under Joe Biden. They're running – in 2023, they were running Gotaway of about 1,800 people per day – 1,800 people ran across borders that we didn't catch, they didn't arrest them, and they ran away,” he said.
The other day he saw Gotaway and said it was standing at 41, but he said he was still bothering him.
“We're going to lower that even further,” Homan said. “But you know, great success at the border – unprecedented success. We're a little more safe. We're doing it – Trump won, so we'll continue doing it.”
“Like I said, Gotaway needs to be zero. We'll get there,” he vowed.
