Media sources are portraying Renee Good, who was shot and killed by ICE agents in Minneapolis on Wednesday, as just a legal “guardian.” However, Glenn Beck took a different approach, interviewing someone who linked Good to extreme far-left groups.
On the latest “Glenn Beck Program,” Beck sat down with Ryan Mauro, an expert in anti-terrorism, to discuss Good’s association with the Minnesota ICE Watch group, which reportedly aims to “document and resist” federal immigration enforcement in Minnesota.
Mauro noted that Good likely discovered Minnesota ICE Watch through the charter school his children attended, describing the school as “blatantly extremist” and actively engaging children in politics.
“They really go all out,” Mauro added, pointing to their social media where one can find instructions on how to confront police, even detailing actions like dragging individuals out of police cars to free them.
According to Mauro, this group doesn’t see the United States as a legitimate government, referring to it as “Turtle Island,” which drew a laugh from Beck.
Mauro articulated their intentions, stating that the goal is not simply to watch law enforcement but to “eliminate America” and “set police cars on fire,” highlighting a notorious social media post depicting a burning police vehicle.
Beck also brought up a clip from Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) that seemed to reflect similar violent sentiments, prompting Beck to suggest that Walz’s comments could encourage radical actions from certain groups.
Both Beck and Mauro concurred that Good can’t just be categorized as “an observer.” As Mauro put it, parking a car to block the road seems a bit too intentional for just someone watching. “It’s just common sense,” he remarked, wondering when the press would acknowledge this reality.
