The Facebook post allegedly shows a tweet that Lammy sent to X in response to the July 13 shooting at a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.[Four] “An American President has been assassinated, Snowflake,” the tweet read. The caption for the post called Lamy’s comments “irresponsible and childish” and questioned whether it was “appropriate behavior” for him to make them.
This claim is false and the tweets are not recent. An advanced search of Lamy’s verified X account revealed tweets he had made. share Lammy made the comments on the platform in 2019 in response to a tweet from then-President Trump.
