Social media users have shared videos of bulldozers crashing into mosques, claiming the destruction was caused by the Chinese Communist Party. One user wrote, “The Chinese government has also destroyed a mosque. The Chinese Communist Party is targeting mosques as part of its crackdown on Muslim Uyghurs.”
However, this claim is false. Through a reverse image search, Check Your Fact discovered that this video is from him in February 2023 and was filmed in Turkey. The video was shared by X This was reported by Turkish news media Aikili.
