Pennsylvania Man Accused of Father’s Murder and Disturbing Video
A man from Pennsylvania is facing serious charges after allegedly killing his father and sharing a video on YouTube that raised eyebrows. Justin Mohn, 33, was charged with murder among other offenses related to the death of Michael Mohn, which occurred on January 30, 2024.
In court, Mohn stated that he wished for his father to make a citizens’ arrest. He claimed a significant political divide between himself and his parents, positioning himself on the left side of the political spectrum. When asked about the reason behind the beheading, Mohn said he intended to send a message to federal employees to fulfill his demands, which is, well, shocking, to say the least.
Mohn recounted shooting his father in the bathroom of their Levittown home after his father threatened to arrest him. He described a moment of resistance, saying, “Unfortunately, he resisted.” The courtroom witnessed an emotionally charged moment when Mohn’s mother cried out during his statement.
Reports indicated that Mohn had previously posted a video of himself holding his father’s severed head, calling for violence against government officials. Just hours after the murder, he was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, as well as abuse of a corpse.
After the incident, Mohn allegedly attempted to mobilize the National Guard against the federal government while attending a training camp, according to the Bucks County District Attorney.
