Father of teen assaulted by undocumented transgender immigrant in NYC store seeks deportation.

A father is expressing outrage after his 14-year-old son was raped by a transgender illegal immigrant in a Manhattan warehouse bathroom. He’s particularly adamant about having the immigrant deported, especially since a plea deal was struck in this case.

Nichole Alexandra Contreras-Suarez, a 31-year-old immigrant from South America, admitted to raping a teenage girl near Thomas Jefferson Park in 2025 and has since been transferred to Massachusetts to face additional charges, according to authorities.

The father believes this individual shouldn’t be allowed to roam free again.

He remarked, “The defendant is a Colombian immigrant who came to the United States and chose to commit this crime of rape. I hope and pray this will lead to the defendant being deported and not being allowed back into the country.”

He added, “This wasn’t a mistake. It reflects a choice. Even if it hadn’t been my son, it would happen to someone else’s child.” His frustration is evident, and he speaks directly to the reality of the situation.

Contreras-Suarez, who pleaded guilty to second-degree rape in March, received a six-month sentence in a deal that allowed the victim’s family to avoid a trial. This decision was made to spare the young boy from further trauma.

In his court statement, the boy said, “I formally want the defendant gone. What happened was very upsetting, but I’m trying to move forward and don’t want to dwell on the details.”

Following the plea agreement, he expressed relief, stating, “Now that the defendant is gone, I feel like I can finally be at peace.” It’s a small comfort in a difficult situation.

Contreras-Suarez was previously arrested at the U.S.-Mexico border in March 2023 but was released back to Mexico. It wasn’t until February 11, 2025, that she committed the crime in New York City.

This case has now closed, and the individual has been moved to Medford, Massachusetts, facing charges for other crimes like armed robbery and assault.

A spokesperson from the Manhattan prosecutor’s office clarified that she would not be granted bail and mentioned that while her felony conviction has immigration consequences, the federal government handles deportation procedures.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security criticized the plea deal made by Manhattan’s District Attorney’s office in March, calling it a severe miscarriage of justice.

Following her arrest in New York, federal immigration authorities took Contreras-Suarez into custody on February 15, 2025, and announced she would face trial in Massachusetts as well.

She must also register as a Level 2 sex offender and will be on probation for ten years.

No comment was received from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement regarding this matter.
