FBI and NYPD Prevent Potential Mass Shooting in NYC
Kash Patel recently shared that the FBI and NYPD have thwarted possible mass shooting incidents aimed at schools in New York City.
While Patel didn’t disclose the identity of the suspect, officials indicated that a 16-year-old tenth grader was involved. The reasons behind the intended attack remain unclear.
Today, the FBI’s National Center for Threat Operations received credible information regarding potential shootings at Benjamin Cardoso High School in New York City. With swift action from NYPD and FBI teams, students were apprehended after firearms were found in their luggage. The FBI is committed to ensuring the safety of children. Thanks to NYPD and @newyorkfbi for their assistance in safeguarding our nation.
Details about the students involved have not been released.
According to reports, the teenager had made an Instagram post about the situation on Thursday morning and was arrested roughly two hours later. A firearm was discovered in one student’s backpack.
It has been stated that the teenager posted about filming the school just before the arrest took place, and further details about the motives are still unknown. Fortunately, it was confirmed that Cardozo’s high school students and staff are safe following the incident.
