FBI Director Kash Patel tells media ‘bring it on’ in stern message after being sworn in

FBI Director Kash Patel provided a stern message in the media moment after being sworn in as the ninth leader of the country's top law enforcement agencies.

“Look, I know the media here, and if you have a target, the target is here,” Patel said Friday as he pointed to himself. “We're not FBI men and women.”

“You wrote everything you can about me, who is fake, malicious, defamatory, and defamatory. Keep doing that. Applause from his supporters in the room.

Patel spoke to critics who believed there was a “two-tier system of justice.”

“I'm not with the Attorney General,” he asserted the skeptic. “Every American has a singular system of justice and is accountable.”

“We support the Constitution. We will maintain ourselves in the Constitution. FBI men and women – I have your back because you have the back of the American people.” He said. “You will be held to the same high standard. Any deviation from this standard will not be tolerated by this Federal Bureau of Investigation.”

Patel was confirmed by the US Senate with 51-49 votes on Thursday.

Maine Republican Sen. Susan Collins and Alaska Lisa Murkovsky joined Democrats by opposing his nomination. .

Patel is expected to overhaul the FBI as Republicans have long accused agencies of being plagued by political motivations. He is now beginning to serve a ten-year term.

At the oath ceremony, Patel expressed his gratitude to Trump, his family, and the senator who voted for him, saying he would place a “big leap of faith” on him.

“I live the American Dream. Anyone who thinks America's dream is dead, just look here. You are the law enforcement agencies of the greatest nation on God's green earth. I'm talking to first generation Indian kids trying to lead the community that can't happen anywhere else,” Patel said.
