Female gamers revolt over Dragon Age’s ‘top surgery scars’

Electronic Arts' Dragon Age: The Veilguard received immediate backlash from female gamers who were upset by the game's lack of femininity.

Video games aren't usually prioritized for how well they appeal to women, but in the case of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, the developers appear to have deliberately removed any feminine qualities from their female characters.

EA and subsidiary BioWare have revealed the game's character creator to the world ahead of its launch on October 31. To show off how inclusive the game is, BioWare revealed that the customization feature will include diverse gender options.
