Fired Gov’t Worker Thinks Trump Admin Can’t Handle Basic Functions Without ‘Experts’ Like Herself

A fired Ministry of Education employee claimed that it would be difficult to support students with special needs during MSNBC appearance on Wednesday.

The Department of Education announced on Tuesday it had cut 50% of staff among bureaucrats, known as the early stages of Trump's campaign promise to voluntarily acquirers, end probation employees and shut down the Cabinet Office. Brittany Coleman, the agency's civil rights lawyer, also served as the store manager for the US government's Federation of Employees before being fired, told MSNBC host Ana Cabrera that “chaos” stems from the decision. “I think it's like we'll get the rest of the confusion we've been experiencing as employees,” Coleman said. “It's hard to believe that students will be served if they have special needs, that they will make sure they have the right documentation for students receiving those needs, or that eliminating that feature will help the American public, or that removing those features will help those features. It's unclear how removing Head Start or removing Title I, which I'm funded through Black Grant, would actually help students who need it the most.”

First half of the interview, Coleman It was criticized Government efficiency over layoffs (DOGE). Coleman continued to insist that the proposal to send block grants to the state lacked sufficient “supervisory.”

“When we talk about removing that fund from our agency, we are experts and we know how to manage it,” Coleman said. “We know how the state targets its funds and ensures that it reaches low income areas, whether it's urban or rural. And it's not clear how that actually helps.”

“The obvious thing is that the process of moving such things doesn't support the state,” Coleman continued. “The truth is, it hinders these efforts because you're not going to do the federal surveillance we give to make sure that it's under control and that people are not discriminated against under the federal non-discrimination laws.”

“We want education back to the state. Iowa needs education. Indiana should have its own education. You're going to see education progress,” Trump said. “We're ranked at the bottom of the list right now, but we're at the top of the list. Cost per student.”
