“I am going to kill Joe Biden today,” a Florida man allegedly wrote on July 11, two days before Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt in western Pennsylvania.
Jason Patrick Alday, 39, of Florida, had been under Secret Service surveillance since late June when he told a receptionist at a psychiatric facility that he didn’t like President Biden and was going to “slit his throat,” the indictment said.
Secret Service agents questioned him, but he denied the allegations, according to federal court documents.
On June 30, Alday reportedly said on The X Show that Biden’s health was deteriorating: “It’s not good at all. Should we just get rid of him?”
