Florida man dies after Harley-Davidson motorcycle test drive goes horribly wrong

Police say a man’s test ride on a Harley-Davidson ended in a fatal accident at a Florida dealership.

in press releasethe Titusville Police Department said officers were dispatched to the Miracle City Harley-Davidson store in response to a fatal crash around 4:15 p.m. Monday.

Police said an investigation revealed that the unidentified man was test driving a motorcycle at a nearby shopping center when he caused the fatal accident.

Authorities said the man “lost control” of the 2014 motorcycle he was test riding and crashed into the exterior wall of a vacant store.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries around 4:40 p.m., police said.

No one else was injured or involved in the vehicle in this traffic accident.

Kenny is an avid motorcyclist. told FOX 35 The victim was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

“There’s no protection. If someone hits you with a car, the door will dent you. If you hit this, you’ll probably lose your leg,” he said.

Witness Christopher Maglione, who works in the Titus Landing area, told FOX 35 that the motorcycle was “going the wrong way” down a nearby street.

“I’m incredibly shocked. I’ve never heard of something like that happening in this square before,” Maglione said.
