Florida Woman Claims to be Trump’s Wife, Arrested Near Mar-a-Lago
Authorities report that a Florida woman, who insists she is married to former President Trump, was arrested while attempting to access his Mar-a-Lago estate.
Christy Lenny Kim Brell, 49, has been asserting that she is “Christy Lenny Trump” and recently wed Trump, as detailed in a relevant affidavit.
On Tuesday, police in Palm Beach received a call about a “unwanted guest” looking to deliver a letter to the president around noon.
A US Secret Service agent informed the officers that Brell, who is known to local authorities, sought to meet with Trump.
When asked for her identification, Brell reportedly had nothing to show. Aside from her claim of changing her last name to Trump due to her alleged marriage, the affidavit states.
Brell’s interactions with law enforcement date back to the spring, with written warnings issued to her in May.
Just days later, she was left near the Bath & Tennis Club, close to Mar-a-Lago, and reiterated her claim of being Trump’s wife.
Currently, she faces misdemeanor charges for trespassing and remains in custody at the Palm Beach County Jail.
