Two close friends from Georgia who were at each other’s weddings have been accused of sleeping with male students in the Georgia school district where they work.
Calhoun City Schools employees Raelie Gleason and Brooklyn Shuler are accused of sleeping with students between October 2021 and January 2022, according to 11Alive.
Authorities say Gleason had sexual intercourse with the two students between Oct. 29, 2021 and Jan. 3, 2022, while Schuller allegedly engaged in an intimate relationship with another man during the same period.
The ages of the students involved have not been made public.

Schuller and Gleason, who described themselves online as friends who were “together till death,” now face a first-degree charge of sexual contact by an employee. New York Post.
If convicted, they each face up to 25 years in prison and/or a fine of up to $100,000.
Police did not say whether they were teachers or held other positions in the district.

Gleason served as a bridesmaid at Schuller’s wedding in Tunnel Hill, Georgia, in November 2022, just months after her alleged relationship with the student was revealed.
A wedding registry website that mentioned Schuller’s wedding has since been removed.
According to Gleason’s wedding page, Schuller served as a bridesmaid at his Tennessee wedding in October 2023 as a favor to a friend.

The site features photos of her and her boyfriend in a series of romantic poses and tells readers that he asked her to be his girlfriend after a high school football game.
Gleason attended Calhoun High School and graduated in 2019.
She then graduated from Kennesaw State University before moving into the education field.
“Giving feedback in the form of grades or averages causes students to stress and struggle,” she wrote in a now-deleted X profile.

Despite her arrest, Gleason still has a presence on her husband’s Facebook page.
“Let him who is without sin among you be the first to cast a stone,” he wrote on the page after his wife’s arrest.

According to local media reports, the two friends were arrested, processed at the Gordon County Jail and then released on bail.
Calhoun Schools did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
