Former Hillary Clinton adviser and CNN contributor Karen Finney argued Sunday that outgoing President Biden's record “will stand the test of time.”
“In the long run, when the pandemic was killing hundreds of thousands of people every day, the president and vice president were the ones who helped us pull back from the brink,” Finney said on CNN. I'll never forget it.” State of the Union. “At a time when we were all at home and businesses and small businesses were going to fall off a cliff, he got the vaccine, got us out of our homes, helped us get back to work and invested in this country.'' She added, “I think what he's doing with the time he has left is about investing in chips and science law, which I think will really make a difference in communities across the country.''Donald. Finney acknowledged that some critics, like fellow panelist Scott Jennings, have “justifiably” criticized the administration for not disclosing Biden's mental health. Ta. But she quickly dismissed it in favor of Biden's foreign policy.
“It was very concerning to see how much his health had deteriorated at the end of this year. And like many people, I didn't realize it was that bad.” Finney said. “Having said that, I think…he showed up to work. He got the job done. I think some of the accomplishments in the Middle East and foreign policy will stand the test of time as well.”
Jennings refuted the claims, particularly her claim that Biden brought home “a large number of hostages” from the Middle East.

“Listen, he's going to step down in shame,” Jennings said. “Hunter Biden's pardon was a disgrace. He will be remembered primarily for inflation and the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. And I think…we now have the first draft of it. I just did it.”
He continued, “But as we continue to learn about the massive cover-up that was going on, it's not about his health, it's about his mental acuity to cover it up, the White House staff and… I think the presidency is going to be very ugly, not just in the last few months, but all four years, for the efforts that have been made by the family.”

Before leaving office, Biden's approval rating was just 41%, and just 7% of those surveyed believed he was one of the “greatest” presidents, according to a Fox News poll.
