Pro Wrestler Saraya Bevis Addresses Fans After Uncomfortable Incident
Professional wrestling star Saraya Bevis, known as Paige in WWE, shared a message with her fans following an unusual incident during a recent signing and photo session.
On social media, Bevis expressed that she would appreciate it if fans refrained from attempting to kiss her, particularly on the mouth. “I have to say this,” she stated, “but if you come to my signing… don’t try to kiss me anywhere, especially on my mouth.” It seems like a pretty straightforward request, but it’s still surprising that she felt the need to say it.
In a follow-up video, she elaborated on the situation, explaining that it happened during the photo opportunity. She reassured everyone that she was, in fact, doing “OK” after the strange encounter. “I managed to get away and he left, so that’s a good thing,” she added, clearly trying to make light of an uncomfortable situation.
Bevis, who has long had a friendly rapport with fans, mentioned that moving forward, she would prefer to stick with handshakes to maintain a safer boundary. “There’s no need to worry about that kind of thing, so I just want to stick with it from now on,” she concluded.
In her wrestling career, Bevis has made quite a name for herself. She was a two-time WWE Diva Champion, winning the title at just 21 years old, and was the first wrestler to hold the WWE Women’s Championship and NXT Women’s Championship simultaneously. Currently, she competes in AEW, where she has also claimed the Women’s World Championships title.
Her journey into wrestling was even portrayed in the film “Battle with My Family,” adding a personal touch to her professional narrative.
