“Last week, I welcomed my first child into the world,” she said. I wrote it on X. “About 15 hours before I entered the birth, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.”

In her post, TIMPF explained that the cancer was caught early, and the doctor told her “it's stage 0 and I'm pretty sure it's almost certainly not spreading.”

A few weeks after making the announcement, TIMPF felt overwhelmed by unsolicited medical advice and spoke directly to her followers.

“First of all, I would like to thank all the support. It makes a lot of sense to me, and this is clearly a really crazy, difficult, and unexpected time. Instagram Early March.

“But I was also overwhelmed by medical advice so I wanted to deal with some things?”

She told fans that many people are well-intentioned, but some have questioned her decision to have a double mastectomy.

The Fox News host said certain individuals shared her story about their loved one diagnosed with zero breast cancer and chose mastectomy instead of a complete mastectomy.

Others – identifying with being a medical professional – suggested that double mastectomy for stage zero cancer appears to be “extreme.”

“I just want to say, no one believes me and it looks more extreme than me,” TIMPF replied.

“I don't cut the t lightly. The general rule is that women don't think they do. It's devastating. But I'm very grateful to have access to so many wonderful mental opinions when it comes to breast cancer.”

Although she acknowledged the emotional sacrifice of the procedure, TIMPF trusted the professional medical team she was guiding through this process, highlighting that her prioritization is to be healthy and present for the future of her child.

TIMPF has been working for Fox News since 2017 and is a regular “Gutfeld!” Since 2023.
