A majority of voters believe the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border is at least a serious problem, if not an emergency, and feel that Congress and the Biden administration are to blame for the ongoing crisis. A new FOX News poll reveals that.
Eight in 10 voters feel the situation at the border is an emergency (41%) or a major problem (37%), and two in 10 say the problem is minor. This 78% is down from a high of 85% in October 2023, but is up double digits from 63% in February 2019, five years ago.
Seven in 10 voters even say the White House has “mostly failed” to improve border security.

The Fox News poll, conducted February 25-28, 2024 and co-led by Beacon Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R), included a random sample of citizens from across the country.
