Voters who participated in a Fox News Digital panel reacting to the debate said Vice President Kamala Harris won the debate.
Asked who they thought would have won the debate, 12 of the panel's voters raised their hands for Harris, while only five said they thought former President Donald Trump would have won.
When asked why Ms Harris won, many voters said Mr Trump didn't know how to attack the new challenger in the race.

“In his mind, he's still basically running against Joe Biden,” one voter said.
Other voters criticized Trump for not bringing fresh ideas to the stage.
“Trump has been so bad. He's in an old suit from 1987. He just keeps repeating the same things and saying the same things. Whereas she's different and refreshing,” the voter said. “If he had a different line of attack against her, I think he would have been more effective.”

Trump says Democrats' actions “could have been a bullet to my head”
“From my perspective, I think she won the debate because he's terrible and just keeps repeating the same things. But I think she's weak. Weak content, weak facts,” the voter added.
But the panel didn't offer only good news for Harris, with few attendees saying the vice president lived up to their expectations.

“She doesn't give a lot of specifics when asked about certain things,” one voter said. “She knows how to tug at people's heartstrings. She knows how to use the dramatic to touch the American people while avoiding the important questions.”

The debate may be the only one between the candidates before Election Day in November, after President Biden's disastrous debate performance earlier this year sparked a campaign to remove him from the election, with just 56 days left until the majority of voters cast their ballots.
