The death of beloved actor Jean Hackman is not only the end of the film era, but also the time when Americans from different political backgrounds can pass the differences and see the inherent goodness of others.
Despite his longtime Democrat, nothing has demonstrated this reality more than Hackman's past praise for former President Ronald Reagan.
“You loved President Reagan,” Larry King told Hackman in an interview with CNN after the death of the former president in 2004.
“Yes, I'm a Democrat, but I also loved the guy's ideas. He was very committed to America. Beautiful American,” Hackman said.
