George Kittle’s Mega Contract and Favorite Purchase

In April 2025, George Kittle inked the largest contract for a tight end in NFL history, marking it as his third significant agreement. By the end of this deal in 2029, Kittle will have earned nearly $155 million across all three contracts.

This naturally led to a question posed by the hosts of the “Bussin’ With the Boys” podcast: What is Kittle’s ultimate splurge purchase?

“Building a football field at my house, constructing a workout facility, and raising a 50-foot American flagpole,” Kittle shared. “That’s definitely my favorite purchase on my property. My wife really loves that one too.”

The impressive flagpole, as tall as a four- or five-story building, stands proudly at Kittle’s offseason residence, which is situated on a sprawling 178-acre ranch in the Nashville area.

“It’s just huge,” Kittle exclaimed. “When you pull in, it’s right next to the football field. Honestly, it’s the first thing you see.”

The sight of the flag waving is surely inspiring for Kittle.

“Absolutely,” he admitted. “I saw it last night. We have lights shining up at it, and as I just got out of the car, I thought, ‘Wow, it’s so beautiful.’

“Yeah, it’s definitely one of my favorite buys.”

While the NFL often faces criticism for issues related to some players, such as domestic violence and DUI incidents, this situation highlights that the league includes many individuals like Kittle.

These are fans of America, genuinely proud of their country.

Sure, not everyone is putting up giant flagpoles. But so far this year, at least, there’s been no kneeling during the national anthem when the flag is prominently displayed.

In essence, George Kittle is one of the good ones.
