A man from Georgia lost his job at a healthcare company he helped to establish after defending his wife’s outburst against their Jewish neighbors.
Earlier this week, Mark and Anna Buizk were involved in a confrontation where they allegedly hurled anti-Semitic remarks, referring to their neighbors in derogatory terms and implying the death of their daughter—a slain Israeli sergeant—was deserved.
Mark was heard supporting his wife, claiming that the young woman’s death was acceptable because she was “fighting.” Most of the yelling came from Anna, who seemed particularly aggressive in the exchange.
Following the incident, Allaihealth, the AI-driven healthcare platform co-founded by Mark, announced his termination on LinkedIn.
The company’s CEO, Robert Boyjoli, expressed that the behavior depicted in the video was entirely at odds with the company’s values and standards of conduct, emphasizing their commitment to integrity and accountability.
Mark had previously established the company with Boyjoli after successfully selling his first venture, Akesogen, to a biotechnology firm based in Chicago.
A neighbor, David Rubin, captured the confrontation on video. The exchange escalated when Anna used slurs and posted signs in memory of her deceased daughter across from the Rubins’ signs. David’s daughter, Rose, had been killed in an attack while on patrol in Jerusalem in November 2023, shortly after the Israeli-Hamas War began.
Throughout this ordeal, the grieving father faced insults from his neighbor, who accused him of being a “corrupted Israelite,” suggesting that Rose’s death was caused by the Israeli Defense Forces.
Even after they returned home, Anna reportedly contacted David, taking responsibility for Rose’s passing. David remarked that he had no issues with the signs his neighbors displayed; this argument marked the first significant conflict with the couple.
