German ambassador warns Trump will ‘undermine’ democratic principles with ‘maximum disruption’ agenda: report

Germany's ambassador to the United States has warned that President-elect Donald Trump's administration will “undermine” democratic principles with policies of “maximum chaos,” according to reports.

Reuters reports that a confidential briefing document signed by Ambassador Andreas Michaelis calls for President Trump's future policy to “redefine the constitutional order, concentrating maximum power in the hands of the president at the expense of Congress and the federal states.” The report said that it was deemed that the explanation was as follows.

“Fundamental democratic principles and checks and balances will be severely undermined, the legislature, law enforcement and media will be stripped of their independence and abused as political tools, and Big Tech companies will be given co-governance. Deaf,” the document says. Dated January 14th.

Fox News Digital reached out to Trump's transition team for comment, but there was no immediate response.

Michaelis said recent actions by Trump and billionaire tech CEO Elon Musk could lead to “a redefinition of the First Amendment.”

“One uses litigation and threats of criminal prosecution and license revocation, and the other manipulates algorithms to block accounts,” the document said, according to Reuters.

Musk supported Trump during the campaign and was appointed by the president-elect to co-head the Department of Government Efficiency.

Germany accuses Elon Musk of trying to interfere in national election

Germany last month accused Musk of trying to interfere in upcoming parliamentary elections on behalf of the far-right Alternative for Germany party, and recent social media posts and an editorial over the weekend have shown support for him. Criticized for doubling the amount.

Michaelis, however, said President Trump could use a wide range of legal options to force states to implement his policies, including “for police operations if an 'insurrection' or 'invasion' is declared.” It is also possible to send troops into the country.”

However, the Posse Police Act of 1878 prohibits federal troops from participating in civil law enforcement unless Congress repeals federal law.

Despite what Michaelis says in the reported document, Germany's foreign ministry acknowledged that Trump won the democratic election and said it would “work closely with the new US administration in the interests of Germany and Europe.” We will work together.”
