Hue’s cutest girl?
An adorable golden retriever puppy caught the internet’s attention when he was born last month with his unusual lime green fur.
The 6-week-old dog, named Shamrock, was brought into the world on March 3 in Pensacola, Florida, and his owner Carol DeBruler said he was “lucky” due to bile in his mother’s womb. It is likely that it is green in color.
“We scrubbed her and the green didn’t come off at all,” said DeBruler, 59. people magazine. “We were kind of shocked.”
DeBruler, who raises dogs at Golden Treasures Kennel, Posted a viral video Millions of onlookers howled with glee at the sight of the key lime-colored cutie on Tiktok.

“She just lights up,” DeBruler said of her littermate. “She was small, but she was full of energy.”
Since then, the dog’s video has been viewed more than 6.8 million times.
“Clifford now has a rival,” one viewer wrote, in a nod to the fictional Big Red Dog.
“Oh, I’ve never wanted a dog so much!” another one gushed.
After weeks in the spotlight, Shamrock now spends his days wrestling and cuddling with his brothers. Her green fur has since faded.
“I’m so excited to share Shamrock with the world,” DeBruler said. “She was a lucky dog!”
In 2022, a bulldog puppy gave the internet a “paw” when he was born with the same pigmentation in Nova Scotia, and in 2019, a litter of green Great Danes was born.
