Google’s artificial intelligence chatbot has been ridiculed and ridiculed by online critics after it generated strange images containing far-left rhetoric.
Social media users have noticed that when the program prompts certain requests, it ends up imposing gender and racial anomalies that don’t make sense.
Google said of the application, “With Gemini Apps, you can create stunning images in seconds.” “Whether it’s work, play, or anything in between, the Gemini app lets you generate images to bring your imagination to life.”
Author Frank J. Fleming first noticed the discrepancy and posted a screenshot on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
Fleming tried several prompts that showed how the app was set up to exclude white people from search results in favor of images of minorities.
Some people have started posting their own results from Gemini.
“Google Gemini will show pictures of black women, but not white women. Anti-whiteness is the ideology of the regime.” answered Jeremy Carl of the Claremont Institute.
One person
asked for image We got images of “British, American, German, and Swedish women,” and we got images of black people and other minorities.
“It’s embarrassingly difficult to get Google Gemini to acknowledge the existence of white people.” answered Another critic.
Google responds
Gemini Experiences senior director Jack Krawczyk said on social media that the company will fix the issues reported by users.
“We are aware that Gemini provides inaccuracies in some of our depictions of historical image generation and are working to correct this immediately.”
I wrote it partially.
“There are more nuances in the historical context, and we will make further adjustments to accommodate that,” he added. “This is part of the adjustment process and we will reiterate your feedback. Thank you and please continue.”
