GOP Iowa Voters So Old, Average Age Is ‘Deceased’

Republican pollster Frank Luntz said Friday on Fox News Channel's “Your World” that the average age of voters in the Iowa Republican caucus is “dead.”

Anchor Neil Kabuto said, “We do a bidding trade on the weather. I think I've pointed out before that it snows this time of year. They're used to it. We usually do that. “It's exhausting to look at it. How will it affect certain voting groups, young people or older people? Those questions come up all the time.”

“There are two groups that are affected when it gets this cold,” Luntz said. “Young voters, ages 18 to 29, are less likely to vote in bad weather. Their turnout is always in question. And Republicans. In events, frankly the average age of caucus voters is dead.”

He added: “The other group currently being affected by this is people over 70, people who would vote if it was better for them to go out.” But at the end of the day, there are excuses, that's all, there are excuses. Iowa is used to this, with snowstorms occurring once every three days in the winter. they know what's going to happen. Therefore, I still expect good turnout in the caucuses. ”
