The business leader said he met with Salvadoran President Najib Bukele and praised the president's crackdown on gang members that has jailed thousands of thugs who have terrorized his country's people.

But he said many members of El Salvador's notorious MS-13 gang have crossed the border into the United States and are now terrorizing U.S. residents, including other Salvadoran immigrants.

“The horses are already on the run, and now we have gang members from Venezuela and other countries coming into our country, ravaging suburban neighborhoods and scaring people,” said Inanu, who has been CEO of Goya, a New Jersey-based Latino food giant since 2004.

He said some Salvadorans who fled to the United States want to return home because of safety concerns and harassment by MS-13 thugs.

“Of course, El Salvador is not an economic paradise,” the food tycoon said.

Goya Foods' board of directors censured Unanue in 2021 after he questioned the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election and barred him from speaking publicly without the board's authorization.

However, Unanu has now published a book titled, “Blessed Donald J. Trump and the Spiritual War: How the Battle for the Soul of this Nation Began with One Word.”

“I think God has a hand on Donald Trump and this country,” he said. “This administration is [Harris-Trump] They destroyed it.”

He also slammed the Harris-Biden administration for blocking the Keystone Pipeline to expand oil shipments from Canada to the United States and called the Green New Deal “madness.”
