Jill Stein, a Green Party candidate for 2024 presidential elections, says Democrats should be nicknamed “anti-Democrats” because of ongoing efforts by the Democratic Party to block her candidacy in several states.

Stein is Breitbart Democrats are “trying to shut out political competition,” he said in an interview Wednesday.
Democrats are asking the Wisconsin Supreme Court to intervene to block Green Party candidates from appearing on Wisconsin’s ballots, in addition to those in other states.
“Stop the gaslighting. Now Democrats are hiring spies and infiltrators to sue and sabotage us at the polls in multiple states, plus trying to withhold public funds we were eligible for months ago. Democrats are absolutely cheating and changing the rules to stay in power,” the Green Party candidate claimed.
“I think we need to change the name of the Democratic Party. They’re actually ‘anti-Democrat,’ and I’ve had issues with both institutionalized parties. I’m not going to leave Republicans out of this, but when you look at the Democrats here, they’ve done everything they can to basically shut out political competition,” Stein said. “Isn’t that what democracy is all about?”
In states where the margin of victory is usually slim, Democrats appear to be fighting for full voting rights, which means they have to eliminate all other competitors, especially if other “progressive” candidates are also in the running.
This week’s lawsuit is the latest move by Democrats to eliminate a rival. On Monday, the Democratic National Committee filed a “petition for original proceedings,” arguing that the Wisconsin Supreme Court should hear the case.
A Democratic petition says the Green Party’s presidential and vice presidential candidates, Jill Stein and Butch Ware, “cannot legally appear” on Wisconsin’s ballot. The petition argues this is because the Green Party does not have the state legislators and statewide officeholders needed to nominate Wisconsin’s presidential electors.
But Jason Cole, from Stein’s campaign, found those legal defenses to be without merit.
“This is a completely baseless lawsuit aimed at wasting our time and resources,” Cole said. “We have already engaged legal counsel to look into this matter, but essentially what Democrats are trying to exploit is a gap in Wisconsin election law that doesn’t define how third and minor parties should select their electors.”
The petition’s arguments are consistent with the Democratic National Committee’s objections filed with the Election Commission.
August 14thNumberDemocrats initially filed a version of their complaint, but the commission dismissed it on a technicality, saying “the complaint does not name any election officials as respondents.” Wikipedia The Democratic National Committee has since filed essentially the same complaint and added Wisconsin Elections Commission Administrator Megan Wolf as a defendant, according to reports.
“However, the committee The second complaint was dealt with without consideration.” the media continued.
August 27NumberThe Wisconsin State Elections Commission will convene to certify candidates for the November election. The petition argues that the Wisconsin Supreme Court should step in before then and order the commission to remove the Green Party’s listing from the ballot.
“This Court rarely exercises original jurisdiction, but when the issues presented are so important in the circumstances that they warrant the exercise of original jurisdiction, it will do so. [a] “We seek a swift and authoritative decision,” the petition states.
Cole also said in an interview Tuesday that the Green Party plans to nominate candidates in additional elections in Wisconsin in response to the concerns.
“If that’s the way Democrats want to do it, we’re going to do it. We’re going to fight back hard,” he declared. “If Democrats want to act in a way that is not anti-democratic, but is anti-democratic, we’re going to make sure we put our candidates up against them. And if they want to call us obstructionists, they can, but we’re going to make sure we undermine their efforts to keep us off the ballot.”
Meanwhile, Jill Stein also emphasized that “in March, the Democrats proudly announced that they had hired a slew of elite lawyers from big corporations to eliminate opponents like me from the election — and now they’re doing just that.”
So far, 20 states have placed Stein on their ballots.
Like independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy (RFK Jr.), who claimed Democrats were using “loafers” to commit fraud, for example by denying them access to New York’s ballot box, Stein also failed to qualify in New York. Newsmax Reported.
“Sorry this happened to you, Jill. Michelle Obama is super convincing when she lies,” RFK Jr.’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, said on Twitter.
