Group of Ravens surrounds President Trump in Baltimore: 'Do you all know this guy?'

A visit to the docks began unusually, as President Donald Trump encountered several Baltimore Ravens players upon his arrival in Sparrows Point, Maryland, to declare a new shipyard initiative.

Trump, who often boasts about his knowledge of football, was welcomed by players Ryan Eckley, Marlon Humphrey, Tyler Loop, and Nick Moore at Tradepoint Atlantic. The event was intended to unveil an extensive logistics center planned for the Baltimore region, roughly a half-hour drive from the Ravens’ home field.

Among the players, Marlon Humphrey seemed to take a more vocal stance on politics and was the only one to share a video of his meeting with the president. In the video, he remarked, “Do y’all know this guy? He claims that he’s a billionaire!” while seated behind Trump in a moving vehicle.

Humphrey has also defended the president publicly, responding to criticism directed at New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart for introducing Trump at a rally. He shared, “The fake Trump hate is funny to me. The majority voted for him, yet everyone seems to hate him, lol… Somebody’s lying.”

According to reports, Humphrey’s intent was to discuss his charitable initiatives and the shared interests in football and golf with the president. Trump’s advisor, Alex Bruesewitz, highlighted Humphrey’s talent and leadership among the Ravens, noting his respect within both the team and the Baltimore community.

The proposed shipyard, being developed in collaboration with Anduril Industries—founded by entrepreneur Palmer Luckey—anticipates generating 3,100 jobs at a cost of $6.6 billion. It’s reported that $2.9 billion of this will come from the U.S. Navy, with the balance sourced from private investment.

As mentioned in various outlets, the shipyard is set to be named “Arsenal Two” and will produce components for Virginia-class nuclear-powered submarines, including torpedo tubes. Taxpayers, according to the president, will hold a 40% stake in the facility, although it won’t commence operations until 2030.

Humphrey has consistently expressed support for Trump, even questioning how Trump could be so disliked while having won the presidency in a tweet from February 2025. After a failed assassination attempt on Trump in July 2024, he remarked that “Trump took a bullet for America.”

Currently, the Ravens hold a 3-1 record and are preparing for their upcoming game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
